Mt. Jonen-dake (常念岳)
Hiking Schedule & Elevation Profile


With all the high-tech, fancy GPS gadgets these days, many folks will likely get a good chuckle out of this, but I felt the info below might possibly be of some benefit to future Mt. Jonen-dake hikers, so I've decided to post the hiking schedule & elevation profile from my Aug. 22, 2010 hike. I've also calculated the steepness (% grade) for the various sections of the trail. So here it is, for whatever it's worth:
