The Scottish

I have been to Scotland last summer vacation. I went to Edinburgh that is the capital of Scotland. There is the Edinburgh Castle. This castle is so beautiful!!! I was moved by the solemnity of that castle’s atmosphere.

I was explained this city’s history (ex: culture, war, and so on…) by a guide who is Scottish. But I couldn't understand well, because I can’t hear “Scottish English.” I think that point was different from American or British English. That is the first time to feel the foreign language dialect.

Scottish English

Ha-ha. Yes, the Scottish accent is very thick, isn't it?

But I LOVE the voice of Sean Connery, the original 007 James Bond.

In my mind, I can still hear him introducing himself in the movies, "Bond....James Bond," in that famous Scottish accent of his. :-)
