Are we realistic about the time needed to climb Mt. Fuji via the Fujinomiya-Hoei-Gotemba route?

Hi Gary, my friends and I spent a couple of hours reading your articles and looking at the pictures, they are great! Thank you so much and please keep it up!

If I may I would like to ask a couple of questions. You see, we plan to hike up taking the Prince Route (Fujinomiya - Hoei - Gotemba) in the morning, around 10 am perhaps, reach summit before dinner. Then we want to spend the night at the summit but in the outdoors, sleep a little, and wake up to sunrise :-)

We would like to seek your kind advice on:
(1) Are we realistic about the time needed for the ascent?
(2) Considering being shield from strong wind and other risk, which area of the summit can we spend our night at?
(3) Last but not least, can we bring portable stove to make soup, coffee and noodles when we are in the outdoors at the summit?

I am sorry for the bundle of questions, I thought of sending them to you via Contact Me, then I thought maybe your advice on my queries would benefit others who may wonder the same... I hope they won't take up too much of your time. Hear from you soon!

Thanks again!
