Australia makes people happy!

by Yuki I.
(Chiba, Japan)

I have an important memory about Australia. I went to Brisbane, Australia to study English and culture. The period of stay there was three weeks and the season was summer, so I determined I would spend my time studying English and enjoying the magnificent nature, for example, the sea!

I want to introduce my favorite place. It is the Gold Coast! The place has a very beautiful sandy beach. The sandy beach looks like it continues forever. I could see many seagulls!

To my surprise, many persons who walk in town appeared in a swimsuit. In Japan, I never had seen people who walk in town in a swimsuit.

I think this town is like a paradise, because a lot of family and couples always have a smile on their face when they are on the beach.

I recommend that you should go to the Gold Coast when you feel miserable. If you see many smiles of people and the beautiful sea, it makes you happy.

Many smiles of people makes you happy
by: Gary Wolff

Wow, Yuki, you put a smile on my face with that happy story.

Yes, smiling is very important in our lives.

And I hope to take your recommendation and visit the Gold Coast someday. Thanks for your nice story.

Cheers,
Gary

p.s. I changed "mews" to "seagulls," as maybe more English readers can understand this more commonly used word better...
