Do you know where we can park our car, please, for our climb via the Fujinomiya Trail?

Hi Gary, many thanks for the information on your site. It is certainly very useful for our planning for our upcoming trip to climb Mt. Fuji.

I'd like to ask you a question - we are a party of 4 and will be staying overnight at Numazu on 6 Aug before our climb on 7 Aug. We have a car, and will be driving to the Fuji 5th station to start our climb via the Fujinomiya Trail. Do you know where we can park our car, please?

Looking forward to hearing from you, appreciate it, thank you!

Cheers,
Sarah

You'll need to take a bus.
by: Gary Wolff

Thanks, Sarah. As you can see from this page, the Fuji Sky Line up to the Fujinomiya 5th Station is closed to private vehicles 7/10-9/10: http://www.fujisan-climb.jp/en/

You'll need to take a bus. Bus schedules to the Fujinomiya 5th Station are linked from this page: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6930.html#section_getThere

Incidentally, I did the Fujinomiya route 3 yrs. ago, so this page might help:
Climbing Mt. Fuji's Fujinomiya Trail

Happy trails...

Gary
