Is Bullet Climbing Mt. Fuji an actual thing and do people actually attempt it?

I've heard that Bullet Climbing is climbing Mt. Fuji at night with no sufficient sleep and/or rest, and I was wondering that if this is safe to do, that people actually do it (if so, how often and when) and what would be required to do this. Thanks.

Brandon, bullet climbing of Mt. Fuji is real and not recommended for a million reasons.
