Is it possible to catch a taxi at Kawaguchiko Station at 4am?

Dear Gary,

My girlfriend Karo and me will travel to Japan in April/May 2016 and one of our highlights will be climbing Mt. Fuji around the 23th April (only by very good weather conditions). Do you know the normal snow conditions and temperature for this time of the year? My second question is, is it possible to catch a taxi at Kawaguchiko Station at 4 am or do we have to make a reservation for the trip and how much will it be (about)?

Torsten, I'm not a big fan of off-season Mt. Fuji climbing, so I'm probably not the best impartial info source, but hopefully the links below will help.

Not sure about your chances of catching a taxi @ 4 am, but the fare from Kawaguchiko Station up to the 5th Station runs about ¥12,000.
