Is there an overnight Mt. Fuji tour you recommend?

by Scotty
(Canada)

Thank you so much for your very informative website. I wished I had found it sooner.

I am a Canadian Scouter (64 y.o.) taking another 20 members ranging from age 14-46 to the World Jamboree in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

On Aug. 9 we had hoped to go to Mt. Fuji, climb the evening of Aug. 9 and then return to our hotel in Haneda Airport (First Capsule hotel). As we will not have an abundance of local knowledge, is there an overnight tour you recommend?

Many thanks and this website is EXCELLENT!!!

Scouter Scotty

Howdy, Scouter Scotty,

Thanks for the kind words and it's always good to hear from fellow scouters.

Here are a few tour guides: https://www.garyjwolff.com/climbing-mt-fuji-page2.html#34

I hope you have a nice trip...

Cheers,
Gary

p.s. Speaking of B.S. jamborees, you might get a kick outta the pic at the bottom of this page. I think the tallest guy is the most handsome: http://garywolff.com/eagle.html
