No. 1 Oil Country

by Tomoya

My Saudi Arabia image is an oil country. When I saw a picture on TV, I was so surprised. That’s because I didn’t think the picture was Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a developing country.

But there was a scene like Shinjuku in Tokyo. And I heard the buildings were built by oil money.

And now as I search for Saudi Arabia, I’m surprised too. I thought Saudi Arabia is the No. 1 country having oil deposits. But I found an article that says Venezuela defeats Saudi Arabia.

I don’t have an image of Venezuela having oil. I envy for oil bearing humans. I want to strike oil, too.

The future of Japan
by: Riko

I was surprised to read your story.
Because I also didn't know relationships between Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.

Japan have few resources. So, I worry about the future of Japan. Now, there are a lot of things which are imported around us. On the sight of foods, soybeans or wheat and so on.

Saudi Arabian oil
by: Gary Wolff

Nice story, Tomoya.

After Hugo Chavez was re-elected president the other day, I heard in the news about Venezuela being a top oil producer.

I agree with you....I want to strike oil, too. Then we can retire and never have to work again! :-)
