NORTHERN IRELAND: A country of great beauty

by Eduardo Rivera Jaramillo
(Mexico D.F.)

No doubt that Northern Ireland is a country of amazing and spectacular beauty. Its many landscapes and towns full of color make this small island one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Surely its beautiful landscapes, beautiful hills, and shores lapped by the sea and wind make those who first visit Northern Ireland want to go back.

According to the information I read, Northern Ireland is a country that has approximately a million and a half people. The country is located in the northern part of the great island of Ireland, with an area of 14,102 sq km.

It is a humid country that produces soft oatmeal, apples, and flax. One of its main resources is breeding cattle and pigs. Also, oil is one of its most important resources.

Knowing the world is to know oneself. The history and legend tell us that where there are people, there is life. And all this country is a lively place. Life sprouting in every nook and soul of its people. People crying, people who love. People living and invites us to know this beautiful and different land that is: NORTHERN IRELAND.
