I think Saudi Arabia is well-known for the best oil flowing country in the world. Therefore, it affects the Japanese economy. It’s not too much to say that Japanese economic growth is thanks to Saudi Arabia. I think this country supports the world economy.

On the 10th of this month, Minister Edano talked with Deputy Prime Minister Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Saudi Arabia. They concluded that they will make the relationship between the two countries stronger with regard to the problems, solar power generation and saving energy.

We Japanese have begun to realize the importance of electricity since we experienced the earthquake on March 11. Therefore, I think this conference plays a critical role in Japan’s future.

Making the relationship between Japan & Saudi Arabia stronger
by: Gary Wolff

Yuka, I think you made a good point about the importance of solar power generation and saving energy. It is certainly something all Japanese need to think about very seriously.

And having a good friend like Saudi Arabia which is rich in oil is a great idea.

Thank goodness for friends like Saudi Arabia. :-)

And thanks for sharing your opinion, Yuka...
