Saudi Arabia's beauty in spite of its growth

As you know, Saudi Arabia is the biggest country of crude oil deposits. The capital, Riyadh, continues to develop as a leading worldwide city in the Middle East. So its mining and export of natural resources, like oil, support the economy in Saudi Arabia.

There are strict regulations to enter there. It gives each kind of visa to someone who fulfills close requirements. And then, it seems there are a lotta regulations against woman, e.g. they can't own a car & have to cover their faces.

Because manufacturing is only on a small scale, it accepts for entrance only pilgrim or business passengers, so almost all tourists can not enter. That means it has such a low acquisition of foreign currency from the sightseeing field.

In my image, speaking of oil power, there are a lotta skyscrapers and cities filled with neon. Actually Riyadh is vibrant with life and continues to develop.

Still, it has a vast reach of nature. That's soooo exciting. With the biggest and the most beautiful desert in the world, many plants and animals thrive in these dry surroundings. Also many remains are there.

We can touch the fascination of Saudi Arabia from several viewpoints. This country is beautiful in various respects, I think.

That's a nice story, Nozomi!

I didn't know about the restrictions on tourist visas. That's too bad, but I guess they obviously don't need the money. :-)
