The country which charms lots of people

by Yasutaka Shiota
(Tokyo, Japan)

I know two things about New Zealand: beautiful nature and warm people.

Firstly, New Zealand is famous for shooting films because there are great landscapes and wonderful nature. For instance, "The Last Samurai," "The Fellowship of the Ring," and so on. This is why New Zealand is quite popular among tourists and backpackers.

Secondly, I’ve experienced New Zealander’s warmth. When I was in London to study English last year, I was staying with a host family for 4 weeks. At that time, they were really kind and told me that they are from Auckland by origin. So I think New Zealanders must be nice and have warm hospitality.

I’ve never been to this fantastic country, but I’m planning to go there for a graduation trip next spring! So I will have to know about New Zealand more!
