What I know about Singapore is that it is a South East Asian country and that its economy has grown very fast in the late 20th century.

And about the connection with Japan is that a Japanese company commercial was filmed there, on the roof of The Marina Bay Sands Hotel where the pool that looks like a pool floating on the air is. The commercial is about cellphones by SoftBank. In that commercial a famous Japanese music group "SMAP" were playing a role in it.

These 2 points are all what I know about Singapore. One that its economy has grown very fast in the late 20th century and the other that there was a Japanese commercial on a hotel there.
