Welsh Cakes

by Eriko T.
(Tokyo)

Today I am going to talk about traditional Welsh food. Have you ever heard of Welsh cakes?? I’ve never heard of them. According to Google, Welsh cakes are a bit like a cross between a fruit scone and a pancake!

But they are flatter and moister than a scone and tastier than a pancake. They can be served hot or cold dusted with sugar and either eaten plain or split and covered with jam or butter or drizzled with honey!!!!

That makes me hungry. Ooh...

I should put eating one on my list of “Things to do before I die”!!! :) hehehe

Yummy, yummy Welsh cakes
by: Gary Wolff

Nice story, Eriko. The only thing that would have made it better is a pic. :-)

Wow, you made me hungry. Maybe I should try my hand at making a Welsh cake by myself.

Thanks for telling me about such tasty food (and for making my stomach growl!)... :-)
