My impression of Americans

by Deng Qilin
(Japan)

Americans always follow the rules, but are warm-hearted at the same time. If you are in a queue, but you have to leave for some reason, someone will help you to keep your position. But if you break the rules, others will give you a strange look.

Americans are also very strict about traffic rules. If the district has a stop sign, even if no one is passing by, the driver of cars will stop. In their opinions, lives are the most important. Even if pedestrians break the rules such as walking across the street during the red light, cars will take the initiative to stop to let the pedestrians pass first.
