A famous symbol of Singapore is Merion. This figure is a strange creature whose head is a lion and the body is a fish. But the origin of the figure is that a Singapore king saw a lion in the sea.

So, Singapore is a famous tourist attraction. In fact, it's the 4th most popular in the world, after Paris, London, & Bangkok.

Recently a great big hotel, “Marina Bay Sands,” was constructed in 2010. This hotel is 55 floors high. The rooftop of the hotel is a pool and garden.

In Japan, this hotel is famous for Softbank CM.
