England, a Constitutional Monarchy

Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II

Actually, Thailand and England, we are quite similar in the form of government. Because we also have a king/queen which acts as head of the country, but he/she is still in constitution and we have a prime minister who is the leader of government.

And the most famous person who is in the constitutional monarchy in England, is Queen Elizabeth II. She is very kind and she also is the constitutional monarch of 16 countries! She used to be the most powerful person in the world! That was amazing. :)

On her 21st birthday, she had a great speech which is "I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and to the service of our great Imperial Family to which we all belong." She is really a great queen.
