English Culture

by Robin
(Germany)

Within Europe, England (including Great Britain) is the only country that has left-hand car traffic. England is famous for the Queen, red phone booths, and a sophisticated tea culture.

Especially, the Buckingham Palace is famous for its strict guards that are not allowed to show any emotion. Besides Paris, London is a popular place for international artists. All over England you can find many different cultures (especially Indians) and in London there is also a large "Chinatown" (Soho area).

Moreover, England is well-known for its English accent. It is very special and sophisticated, while Liverpool and Manchester in the northern parts represent more industrial environments and an assimilated accent.

A worldwide famous legend of course is Robin Hood, who lived in Sherwood Forest and "took from the rich to give it to the poor"
