Grand Canyon, Arizona, USA

One of my best memories of America was hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. It's one of the 7 Wonders of the World and I enjoyed it a lot, even though it just about killed me !

Very, very TOUGH hike, but some of the best scenery I think I've ever seen anywhere. We don't have anything even close to this in Japan, although I'm pretty fond of our own Japan Alps.

I would recommend the Grand Canyon to anyone who enjoys backpacking, like myself.
