How to get from Kawaguchiko to the Gotemba/Subashiri 5th stations?

Hey,

We are hoping to hike in late July and are staying near Kawaguchiko Station. We want to hike the Subashiri trail (to avoid crowds) but I can't find any way to get from Kawaguchiko to Gotemba/Subashiri 5th station.

Any ideas?

No clue, Mat, but you might try calling the Tokyo Tourist Info Center @ +81-3-3201-3331 (daily including Sundays, except Jan. 1) from 9:00 to 17:00 Japan time.

Maybe they can help you...
