Hi Gary,

Saw your site. Any idea if bus from Akan Kohan and Meakan Onsen still runs? Planning hike from Lake Akan and take bus back from the Meakan Onsen.

Thanks,
Jim

Don't know, Jim
by: Gary Wolff

No clue, Jim, but you might try posting your question in the "Hiking in Japan" Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/9872778764/).

Or if you need an immediate answer, you can call (or skype) the Tourist Info Center @ +81-3-3201-3331 (Daily (including Sundays) from 9:00 to 17:00...MDT+15 = Japan time).

Maybe they can help you.

Best wishes....

Gary
