I like Russian hospitality. My Russian friends (in Germany) like taking care of visitors a lot; rooms are always tidy and cozy, and equipped with warm carpets. Every time I visit them, I will be offered a warm tea and delicious cookies.
If only one cookie would be left, they would easily offer it to their visitor. Even if they are short of money, they would always try to provide a friendly environment.
Even though, on Russia's streets people are very straight forward and due to the country's vast size, it is not easy to enforce strict laws. This may be one reason that many crazy things happen.
