The Summer Christmas

The Summer Christmas

I have never been to Australia. But maybe I am a little familiar with it, because I have read some books about it. I learnt that Australia is the 6th largest country around the world. It is a country that is all surrounded by the sea.

Australia is a country of immigrants, so it has a combination of the different cultures and people with different religions. The architecture there is very famous too, such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Sydney Harbor Bridge, and the Sydney Opera House. And there is a big quantity of wild animals such as kangaroo, sloth, platypus, wombat, and so on.

But the most interesting thing for us who live in the Northern Hemisphere is that Christmas in Australia is in summer. I can’t imagine that the Australian people will enjoy Christmas without snow, but instead they enjoy sunshine on the beach and wear swimsuits on Christmas.

It leaves me with such a deep impression. I often dream that one day I can go there to enjoy the different kind of Christmas.
