What I Know of America

To be frank, I never had the chance to go to America, and also what I know about America is mainly from 2 ways: the first one is movies or TV series, like Forrest Gump, the Shawshank Redemption, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl, and so on.
The impression from these is Americans are open-minded, they are confident and risk-taking, and always willing to try some new things. I also like the countryside life shown in movies.
The second way is from daily news. I believe everyone knows the famous campaign statement from President Obama that is: ‘The Change We Need.’
