World Cup in South Africa

The World Cup was held in South Africa in 2010 and Japan joined it. First they had 3 games in a group stage. The group had 4 teams, which are Japan, Cameroon, Denmark, and Netherlands.
Aside from Japan, these teams were really strong, so I didn’t think Japan could win at all. However, it was different from what I imagined. Although Japan was defeated by the Netherlands, they could win other games.
Fortunately, they could advance to the knock-out stage. I was so surprised at that. I hope Japan will get the victory in the next World Cup.
