Is it possible to sleep outside the Mt. Fuji mountain huts with a sleeping bag?

by Jean
(London, England)

Hi, I am planning to climb Mt Fuji next weekend on Saturday using the Subashiri trail. It is very last minute and all the mountain huts are booked up.

Is it possible to sleep outside the mountain huts with a sleeping bag? Is it safe? Thank you.

Sorry, Jean.

Climbing up Mt. Fuji, but not sleeping in a hut. Can I sleep on the ground outside?

Can I camp out at the top of the Mt. Fuji summit?

Can you camp on Mt. Fuji?

Happy trails & thanks for visiting my site...

Cheers,
Gary
