Cotswolds, England

England is the one of the countries I have wanted to visit. Especially, I want to visit Cotswolds and the Lake District. Cotswolds is said to be most beautiful village in England. The architecture is made of limestone. I think it seems like a fairyland. I want to visit this region and shake off my tiredness…

The Lake District is the place that Helen Beatrix Potter lived before. She is the author of Peter Rabbit. This is a spot of great scenic beauty and it must make me feel like in a picture book.

I want to visit this fantastic region!

Lake District is awesome

I have been to the lakes on 3 occasions, every time was a working trip so i only stayed for 1 night. But it is by far the most scenic and breath taking place in England. I live and work in London and the lakes are about a 5 hour drive away up north, but it is a whole different world up there. I could happily spend a few months there in a cottage by Lake Windermere and just get lost in the fairytale way of life. I would definitely recommend a trip there :)

Peter Rabbit & Miss Beatrix Potter

What a lovely story, Yuka, and what a lovely place.

I'm like you. If I ever get a chance to visit England, I hope to visit Cotswold.

As a young boy, I was a big fan of Peter Rabbit. By the way, if you like Peter Rabbit, you might enjoy a good movie I saw few years ago about the life of Beatrix Potter called "Miss Potter," who is played by Renee Zellweger, the same movie star from Texas who played the title role in Bridget Jones's Diary.
